Missy Jay has traveled extensively, DJed at luxury venues around the globe, and has an active social media presence. Now the international award-winning crowd pleaser is adding another achievement to her list of accomplishments – travel influencer.
“I only work with brands that fit my style and blend into my feed so it’s natural,” said Missy Jay. “One of my recent campaigns is with Eremito. I flew to Italy and Eremito’s owner, Marcello, had me explore around the countryside and eat their delicious plant-based food.”
Travel influencer isn’t something that Missy Jay set out to do. It’s a process that’s evolved naturally as part of her star DJ status and someone that partakes of all life has to offer. The Eremito Hotelito Del Alma is a lay monastery and one of the most recognized eco-hotels in the world. Founded by fashion designer, Marcello Murzilli, the 100 percent vegan establishment offers a uniquely restorative escape from the pressures of the everyday world.
“Sunrise meditation and yoga, a sunset hot bath in the spa, it was amazing,” said Missy Jay. “Eremito has been like a whole other universe of magical beings. I love spending time there. I liked all of it, from the magical Gregorian chants echoing throughout the castle to the beautiful smell of oils and the candlelight.”
Missy Jay has never been one to follow the crowd. It’s not her style. Music, art, travel and meditation are all things that make her heart sing. The celebrity DJ has been following a more spiritual route and learning to be less attached to material things. She believes passion always speaks the truth, even if it seems crazy to the rest of the world.
To that end she’s been traveling, touring the world and being a true musical nomad. She’s been fortunate to visit dream destinations encompassing Brazil, Italy, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Istanbul, Zanzibar, Mexico and Cuba.
Missy Jay has been DJing for over a decade and her favorite parties are at the beach, under the moon. She’s built a solid community with her own unique style. She loves what she does and enjoys creating content for her legion of fans that has made her an iconic travel influencer.
