DJs Missy Jay and Pioneer Share the Stage at O2 Arena London UK

World famous DJ, Missy Jay, will be playing at the O2 Arena in London on Monday, July 30th at an event hosted by Genres of House. She’ll perform along with DJ Pioneer as a radio host for Radio Kiss 100, a national FM radio station in the United Kingdom. DJ Pioneer is an influencer in the UK Underground, generally playing in Ministry of Sound.

“It’s so awesome to play alongside a legendary London house music DJ,” said Missy Jay. “I’m blessed to DJ at the London O2 Arena. What a great achievement. I’m so grateful to life for giving me the possibilities to achieve what I dream. I love London. It was the first city I visited, the first city I flew to when I was 14 years old and I am specially attached to it. Now I’m invited to play there it’s so awesome! Life is so good.”

Missy Jay is ranked one of the Top 10 female DJs in the world has won top awards around the globe, specializing in performing at worldwide luxury events ranging from Fashion Week to Formula 1 sporting events and international car and yacht shows. She’s worked with some of the most notable names in the music industry.

She owns and operates her own MJM Records music label and launched her own Jayland Radio Show podcast series that’s now broadcast live on radio stations spanning five continents. She’s been featured in numerous print and broadcast media that includes Tillate Magazine and MTV. She’ll be performing at Café del Mar in Brazil on July 16th and at Privilege on August 10th.

DJ Pioneer has always been passionate about music and began DJing at the age of 16. His father was a reggae bass player and his mother a huge fan of reggae. UK Underground Dance scene caught his interest, particularly the Jungle genre that was a staple of UK raves.

Pioneer began hosting a radio show that grew in popularity, leading to a variety of other gigs and he’s never looked back. He’s now a producer and has launched his SOTU (Sounds Of The Underground) record label and regularly performs around the world in locales ranging from Spain and Amsterdam to Greece and Jamaica.

The O2 Arena is one of the most prestigious venues in London. It played a part in the 2012 Summer Olympics, the 2012 Summer Paralympics and is the world’s busiest music arena. The O2 Arena has hosted a wide variety of bands, music tours and festivals, along with the ATP World Tour Finals and boxing championships. The O2 is a venue that Missy Jay has played before and one that she thoroughly enjoys.
